BKM Financial Services, Inc. was founded in 1997 by Frank Balladares and his wife, Maria Balladares. They were the only employees of the company and they worked as a NC mortgage broker and an independent insurance agent. As the years passed they saw their business grow. BKM Financial Services, Inc. has always prided itself on being a local, family owned business. Frank and Maria Balladares have over 20 years of living in the Outer Banks. When their daughter, Karla, graduated from college with her husband, they were quickly brought aboard the family business. With over 10 years of well established business in the Outer Banks, BKM Financial Services, Inc. has proven to be a great benefit to the community. They represent clients from across the state of North Carolina and across the whole country. They are now a licensed North Carolina Mortgage Lender. They are also a licensed Insurance Agency. They specialize in all types of mortgages, insurance, and other small business services.
